Now that Wolverine is back in the Marvel Universe, “Wolverine Legends” Chris Claremont, Larry Hama, and Sam Keith are teaming up to tell stories in a June one-shot titled Wolverine: Exit Wounds, which Marvel says is part of a celebration of their company’s 80th anniversary.
For his Exit Wounds story, Claremont will reunite with his X-Treme X-Men and Fantastic Four artist Salvador Larroca for a story that ties into another Claremont story.
“Set during the last scenes of the Kitty Pryde and Wolverine, this character-driven short story takes Wolverine, Kitty, and Yukio to new adventures,” Claremont tells Newsarama. “Wolverine is the best he is at what he does, but what he does best is…”
Former Wolverine artists Ryan Stegman and Rob Liefeld, along with Kieth, will be drawing covers for the one-shot.
Here is the solicitation – look for Marvel’s full June 2019 solicitations later this month on Newsarama.
