With the 2019 Academy Awards moving forward with no host and instead apparently planning to rely on a whole cast of celebrities to introduce the show’s various segments, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences is seeking to reunite the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Avengers for the ceremony’s broadcast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the Hollywood trade, the Academy is booking as much of the cast as possible, though it hasn’t been reported whether the Avengers castmembers in question would appear individually or as a group.

The 2013 Oscars ceremony, which followed the 2012 release of Avengers, brought Robert Downey, Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, and Samuel L. Jackson together onstage in a partial cast reunion.

An onstage gathering could be a potential win-win, with Disney getting high profile free media in advance of Avengers: Endgame in April and the Academy getting a draw appealing to more mainstream moviegoers.

The 2019 Oscars ceremony will air February 24.

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released April 26.
